My husband and I have lived in four states, Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois and Georgia.  We're glad to have snow only once or twice a year but think it's way too hot here in July, August and September. He's a financial planner; his hobby is piloting hot air balloons, it scares me and I crew mostly on the ground.  I prefer reading, gardening, traveling, and going to museums or historical sites in my spare time. We're lucky to have our children nearby; our son lives with his wife in Smyrna and our daughter lives and works in Midtown.

 

I come from a long line of teachers-mom, sister, cousin, aunt, and my grandmother helped out in a one room school house after 8th grade (like sister Mary in Little House on the Prairie).
