Shiloh Showcase

Every state in the Union teaches its own history. In Georgia it is taught in  eighth grade-by law!  Georgia and US history will be woven together, beginning with geography and map skills. We also cover prehistoric native cultures, the colonial period, the American Revolution (my favorite!), statehood, Civil War, westward expansion, industrialization and the Twentieth Century. Much emphasis is on current events every Friday by using the AJC newspaper.

Each quarter you will create a scrapbook project.  You must save EACH quarter's section of the Georgia Scrapbook for the FINAL EXAM PROJECT in May.  Find a sacred place to put them so you won't lose them. You will have lots of time to complete these projects, but don't put them off until the last minute!

Scrapbook requirement checklists are on the Scrapbook Page and/or schoolnotes.com.
